This is a new work fresh out of the studio. I am reverting to more of the pure concept of the horizon. Much more representational but yet simple in concept but complex in execution. Anyone looking for a piece to relax and escape into, this may be the one.

This mixed medium painting got a lot of looks and comments in the recent Saint Paul Art Crawl. No one bought it (I suspect that the price may be too high) but it caught people's eye. It reminded most people of stratification of rock formation. I see a gaseous atmosphere of a far away planet.
A painting that I went back in and improved it's basic form and composition. This painting is more dynamic and seems to fit with itself as I also gave it some depth. This is a perfect example of what I like to paint my abstracts to emulate, nature.
